"I have been running one on one shooting programs for the last 6
years.·· The biggest issue that I've come across is how many new players are
holding their stick.· With kids coming in with new gloves that are not broken
in very well, the kids don't have the "palmless glove" feel.· Also,
new players don't realize that the top hand is turning over the stick.· Similar
to a golf grip, the thumb should be down the shaft to have the blade hitting
ball, or puck, straight.· The Oggie grip is the only product I have found that
can fix this problem.· At first, many “Old School Hockey” folks here in New
England don't want to accept this new age product for some reason.· But that is
all starting to change.
I have recommended many player’s use them
since I've found this grip, and I personally use an Ergo grip myself.·· Many
parents have thanked me for improving their child’s stick handling and shot.·

nice to know that you will have consistency in your grip. It might take you a
while to get used to it but I definitely recommend you try it out, you wont be
